January 31, 2007 (HOUSTON, TX)…Nexus Specialty Hospital recently announced that Jefy Mathew, M.D., recently joined Nexus Specialty Hospital
as its director of intensive care and pulmonary care.
Dr. Mathew received his medical education and completed his internship and residency in Houston, but for the past eight years has been
living and working in Boston. Since 1999, Dr. Mathew has served as a clinical fellow at Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General

degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from the University of Houston, where he attended with several scholarships.
