Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw Boosts Corporate & Securities Practice Group With Addition of Two New Attorneys
- Corporate team remains on consistent growth track with 20+ lawyers -
December 5, 2006 (HOUSTON, TX)Two associates recently joined the burgeoning Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the Houston office of
international law firm Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw.
Daniel Croll joined the firm from Withrow, McQuade & Olsen in Atlanta Georgia, where his practice focused mainly on general corporate &
securities law as well as health care law and regulation. He also worked for several years as an investment banking, real estate and venture
capital writer for Hoovers, Inc. He received his law degree from Duke University and his Bachelors in Business Administration Finance
from The University of Texas at Austins McCombs School of Business, where he was a National Merit Scholar and was a member of several honor
societies.
Robert Rapfogel previously served as an assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General of Texas Open Records Division and
General Counsel Division in Austin. Before that, he worked as a corporate & securities associate at Cantey & Hanger, LLP, in Fort Worth, as
a senior financial consultant for Goetzman Lewis Company in Los Angeles, and as a financial analyst for Intel Corporation in Santa Clara,
California. He has been active on the pro bono front, serving as a legal advisor for Texas Campaign for the Environment and Mayfest, Inc. He
also has been involved with Austin Sister Cities. He can speak, read and write Japanese.
