The classes, which run $275 per person, take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., include lunch, and are limited to four people per training. The trainings actively engage participants in the fundamentals of making the perfect espresso. The classes are open to anyone from new or future owners of independent coffee houses to baristas looking to elevate their skills to those who simply want to learn preparation techniques making great coffee at home. The classes, which run $275 per student, are taught by certified barista competition judges and accomplished competition baristas, who also conduct training labs at the Specialty Coffee Association of America conference.
